Richard Clifford – is well known in the Illawarra as a highly successful businessman with a demonstrated commitment to the community both through business and sporting enterprise. In acquiring the property in 1998, Richards vision for the Hillside property was to preserve the executive living environment for which the property has become renown – but to “open the gates” enabling access to the peaceful garden setting and expansive views for the enjoyment of the broader community.

Lyal Allen – Lyal has over 20 years experience as a specialist consultant and advisor in the field of planning, management and marketing of retirement housing and residential care facilities. He is a Member of the Commonwealth Panel of Advisors. Lyal serves as a Key Person on a number of aged care facilities and maintains an active interest in the development of innovative community aged care programs serving Indigenous Australians.

Rob Danby – Rob and his family have been residents of Kiama since the early 1970’s where they have operated a highly successful timber trading business. Rob’s commitment to local community is well known through his long term involvement in community service organisations and advocacy for local charities including the Kiama Vietnam Childrens Fund and the Lions Cancer Care Fund for Illawarra cancer sufferers. Robs extensive construction experience has been invaluable in breathing new life into the Hillside residence as it is transformed into a premier health care facility,

Maurice Tulich – Maurice and the Tulich Family name are synonymous with the development and operations of retirement communities and residential aged care developments in South Western Sydney and regional NSW. Maurice has been actively involved in aged care since 1995 and has served as a State and past National Director of the Retirement Villages Association.

Theresa Kramer – has been involved in the health industry since 1976 and has held senior nursing and management positions. She has sound clinical skills as well as a broad background in aged care including education and management. Theresa has worked in rural and urban environments, in the community as well as hospital and residential care environments. Theresa is a Registered Nurse and holds a Gerontology Certificate, Bachelor of Nursing and Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management.

Bianca Tulich – Bianca has 15 years experience in a broad range of administration, financial and management roles and now specialises in the development, management, marketing and operations of retirement village, residential and community care initiatives. Bianca is also a Director of The Odyssey House McGrath Foundation and The Casula Powerhouse Trust Foundation.

David Jones – David has a continuous family link over three generations, to the timber industry on the south coast and prior to retiring from full time work was a director of a successful timber and building supply company servicing the Illawarra area, and beyond. David continues a commitment to his local community through membership of Lions for more than thirty years, including serving as club president; in addition to an involvement in many sports. David has lived in the south coast area all of his life.

Alex Pupovac – Alex is the principal of the Pupovac Construction team – a highly successful business based in the Illawarra – and servicing clients beyond. Pupovac Constructions have extensive experience in residential, medium rise, commercial and residential aged care construction. Alex has taken particular pride in the re-vitalization of the historic “Hillside Residence”, working closely with heritage and landscape consultants, architects and the project development team to reclaim the iconic status of “Hillside” and to present the building ready for its new role as the leading ESS residential care facility for the Illawarra.
